Available in 30, 50 High and Low gear ratio versions, and 80/90 size. Curtis has been designing and using his own designs for over 10 years and these pipes represent the very latest developments. Muscle Pipes are designed to offer performance enhancement for the majority of today's high performance helicopter engines and to offer complete ease of use and fitment. The Muscle Pipe II is essentially a tuned pipe in a conventional muffler configuration, enabling performance enhancement but without the need for complex set up optimisation associated with conventional tuned pipes. Being compact they have the benefit of minimal interference with the centre of gravity of the helicopter and do not require any special additional fittings to the helicopter. Similarly the pipes are able to operate effectively over a broader RPM range than traditional tuned pipes which offers further benefits in terms of helicopter set up. Muscle Pipe II is unmistakable in design and innovation, a consequence of form following function. Whilst the Muscle Pipe II range is designed to enhance performance, carburetor adjustment is carried out in the same way as a conventional muffler. No adjustment is necessary once fitted, and the pipes are designed to operate with both low and high nitro fuels. Additionally, the new MPII Q range has been designed to significantly reduce noise output and offer sound levels comparable with conventional mufflers. Finally, each Muscle Pipe II is hand polished and finished to exacting standards, and will offer years of dependable satisfaction. Naturally all Muscle Pipe IIs are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months. |
